A Fish Called Dorothy...

Addison is officially a pet owner- a new red beta fish called, you guessed it, Dorothy. She always likes to look at the fishies when we are in Wal-Mart, so I asked Addison if she would like a fish of her own. Well of course her answer was a big YES! So, off we went to Petco on Saturday afternoon. The goal was to get an orange fish like the one on Elmo's World. For those of you not up to date on Elmo facts, the name of his fish is Dorothy and she is a goldfish. The guy at the store suggested a beta since they seem to live longer. There were no orange ones, so Addison picked out a red one. I asked her once again what the fish's name was and again she said Dorothy (even thought it is a boy). So, here are a few cute pics of my girl and her fish. Oh, by the way, the introduction to the fish went like this...Hi Dorothy, I'm Addison Leigh Banks! Too Cute!

The Girls Got a New Ride!

Well, I finally broke down and got the double stroller. Addison isn't quite ready to walk while Anna Kate strolls-she tends to wander off. So, this will work until Addison is old enough to walk and behave...not sure if that will EVER happen!!

I Don't Think So!

Well, it was past time for us to move Ms. Moo Moo out of her infant car seat and into a convertible seat. I have really enjoyed the Britax seat Addison has, so Anna Kate got the same seat, just a different pattern. Scott had to make sure the straps were correct before installing the seat, and needless to say Anna Kate was NOT happy about it at all. However, she is very happy with her seat now. I will have to post pictures to prove it since it looks like this seat is pure torture on the girl! Such a Drama Queen..........

Guess Who?

Since Anna Kate is girl #2, she gets to wear all of Addison's hand me downs! I thought it would be cute to compare the girls in the same pj's at the same age and the same paci. Ok, not the sme exact paci- that would be gross, but 2 just alike. They are both between 9 and 10 months old in these pics. So, can you guess who's who? Or is it who's whom?

My Mistake...

In reference to my prior post, I am told by the deer slayer himself that the deer from 3 years ago was a 9 point, not an 8 point...Pardon Me!!

Scott's "Reindeer"

Well, Scott finally got a deer or a reindeer as Addison calls it for some reason. He went hunting on New Years day and killed an 8 point. Three years ago to the day that he killed his last 8 point. Although I do not eat deer meat, nor do I want to hunt, I am happy for Scott. He gave the meat away so it will be eaten. Addison is terrified of the reindeer. She saw the deer in its decapitated state and told me that "Daddy's reindeer scares her". I am not really sure why she is calling it a reindeer, but I told her it scared me too! Hopefully she will not be traumatized next Christmas when Santa and his crew roll back into town!! Here are a few pics. Congrats Honey! Good Job!
